It is inhabited by goblins, orcs, wyverns and cyclopes. The racial ability of stronghold troops is Raging Blood. Heroes you can begin a game with, in non-campaign games. MMs started with the worlds, webway, etc. (yes, MM worlds are fantasy mixed with sci-fi), HoMMs just take place in their world (and move the storyline) - and they became more popular than the MM games. Heroes 4 was made when 3DO was having a lot of financial troubles so they had budget cuts and the game was released in a beta state. H4 has some interesting ideas like the magic & skill system, which I liked. But the problem is the heroes. Heroes in H4 is more like RPG. Not only has the Heroes of Might and Magic II game engine fheroes2 seen a new release, but a surprise update of VCMI for Heroes of Might and Magic III was also released. For VCMI, it had been multiple years since the last release and they're calling this the big 1.0 meaning it should be fully playable. Theres no differnt between Heroes of Might and Magic and Might and Magic Heroes. All what happened is theyjust moved 'Might and Magic' the brand/universe from the end to the front to make it clearer that its a M&M universe game.
